i dont really understand the clear chairs.....i mean, you must really want to see some peoples cracks...c'on! and you know those Echols' have freakishly long cracks :)
The clear chairs have to do with space weight that your eye sees. If you have a small room and large furniture then the absence of said chair can trick your eye into thinking your room is larger. Plus your long crack would look wonderful no matter what chair it was in :)
